If you climb some rocks next to the large tower along the cliff you'll find yourself atop a platform. There is a tall column on the platform that looks like it could be pushed over to make a bridge for access to the other platform which has a chest in the middle of it.
Only problem is I can't "highlight" the column when I am close to it, and when I do attempt some type of action he just shrugs. I've tried telekenisis on the column, tried to get it to lock onto the chest, I've tried swinging at the column, and I even tried drinking one of those sprint potions to see if I could make the jump (barely missed).
Has anyone knocked it over or tried to yet? My only other thought would be to try the wind fist spell from the Brotherhood, but I have no ore right now so it'll take a while.

I am at the same place, I can't figure out how to topple it, I have the fist of wind so I'll try that, but nothing else I have seems to work. I allready killed the troll on the platform with the chest with my firestorm rune, but I have yet to figure out any way to knock over the column, and yes, I tried everything you did Includeing hitting it with uritzel... nothing works.

I too was there and couldn't do anything including fist of wind to topple it. I also tried jumping the gap too many times to tell you without being embarassed! Someone please help on this one! |

I gather there are several solutions, but I transformed into a swamp fly, flew up the cliff behind the platforms, over and down. |

the easiest way i found is to learn acrobatics(you will find this useful anyway, well worth the 10 points invested) |

2. Is what is in the chest worth the effort?

It is possible to topple the column but I can only seem to make it go the wrong way. If you get near the edge of the cliff facing the mountain as close to the column as possible highlighting it, you can push it over. No idea how to make it go the way you want it to though. |
