STUCK on level 4 (the crypt)

I'm stuck where you have to repair the broken lever. On the guide it says: " the lever in 43 has to be repaired with a piece of wood". I can't find this piece of wood! i havce in my backpack a WOODEN STAKE and i thought that it was the "piece of wood", but when i try to use it on the broken lever on even with the tools, nothing happens..

any help please?

no offense, but open your eyes ;)

Dude, there's two sticks (NOT stakes, there's plenty of those) to be found in the crypts alone, just pick one up and use it on the broken lever slot. If you have whittled the two sticks in the crypt, you'll have to find a stick elsewhere, there are quite a few in the game, especially in the goblin area
