pleeeeease help

I just bought baldur's gate, the original saga with tales of the sword coast included and im having a lot of trouble installing it. When im getting midway through the installation i get an error message( could not decompress area0006 ) or something like that. It always comes up when its decompressing an area file. I have an option not to install it and let it read off the disk but then i have to keep changing the cd's in new areas. Does anyone else have this problem or could someone please suggest a way to fix it?

I remember areas not decompressing properly being an issue back when BG first came out. Their recommendation, I think (it was HOW long ago?), was a defrag. Though for some reason a few defective cds comes to mind or installations from backup copies made with a certain speed burner.

You can check out the official forums at www.bioware.com ... the answer might be archived somewhere. I never experience it first hand, so I don't have a definate answer...
