The Sleeper and the barrier |
|
Maybe this question had already been asked here. So I'll repeat in that case. What is the connection between the Sleeper's death and the barrier destruction? Sleeper is just a bad daemon who was brought into the barrier with the others mages, people and animals and who couldn't get out but I didn't find any explanation of why it was impossible to remove that barrier without his help and what was the kind of that help? |

I think it whas like this:
The mages created the barrier but where not suppoed to be inside.
But something went wrong and the barrier grow larger then it whas supposed to, trapping the mages inside.
There whas a power inside the barrier that made it grow larger. Because of that power the mages could nt control the barrier anylonger.
You needed to destroy the power and the barrier would be destroyed to, they where lnked. The power whas the sleeper. _________________ The original RED poster (retired now)

But do you really think that it is possible for such a small spider daemon to make the barrier larger? How did he keep that barrier only by his energy? Maybe by his web? he-he |

Uh, I think I got this right. The sleeper was a creature, a creature made by an evil and strong god. That god has more creatures, creatures that are just as powerfull as a god. mages, aren't as powerfull as gods, thats why the barrier thing went wrong. The mages couldn't handle such a power, so the barrier got out of control.

DzD is probably right..
Sleeper, as the humans call it, is the deamon's pet, and I persume it's used like some kind of a focus. Through it came the energy for enlarging the barrier, but the question remains, why would a deamon want to temper with the barrier? To cut the ore supply? |

Well, here is some guesses:
1. The evil god wanted to destroy the human race, and therefore cutting of teh ore supply.
2. The sleeper didn't mean to do anything. The mages was making the barrier based up on the power of themselves. But they didn't count on the unexpected big power of the sleeper, therefore the barrier got out of control.
3. The sleeper wanted to start chaos just so that his god was going to get more believers.
And so on... _________________ There once was a youngster, DzD
