I haven't been able to bring up the console in the english-demo version. I read you must type testmode=1 in the gothic.ini file and I did but nothing happens when I hit F2. Am I putting it under the wrong header? Any help would be appreciated.

This info is outdated.
Open the character screen, type "marvin", close the characterscreen.
If you donīt see a message in the upper left corner, try it again without pressing return.
