An eye for an eye... Heh, of course if they are mean to me, then I can steal their things.

Ech, farmers. They're so dirt poor anyway it's hardly worth stealing from them. I remember all of the quaint farm houses that you could visit in the BG games (mostly BG1). You go in there, knock the inhabitants unconscious so they can't call the guards, lockpick the treasure chest at the foot of the bed, and what do you get? A lousy 10 gold pieces. I gave up looting random houses after cleaning out Beregost.

"A lousy 10 gold pieces" is enough to hire a personal servant for 10 weeks.

Thatīs why I always try to give those 10 pieces of gold to someone in more need than myself and my party.

Try it again, man. You've been through Wizardry 8, which IMHO is miles ahead of BG2 in terms of difficulty, and you're well into IWD2, so there's no reason why - with a little persistence - you wouldn't be able to get through it. Just remember to use the spacebar a lot.

If it gets difficult, just ask anyone here for some advice. That's what this board is here for.

And you can lower the difficulty setings in BG2. In the begining it's set to medium.
