Gaming rut zone

I'm stuck in a gaming rut. Can't commit to any game for very long. So I put together another Wiz8 party. Used the only class remaining that I hadn't played (well, unless you count "experimental parties")- alchemist. Since I almost always have a ranger, the alchemist is pretty redundant, but I thought perhaps the novelty would help keep me going.

So far, he's not exactly a world shaker, but we're only as far as leaving the monestary.

Well; I've tried him in a party a few times, and for middle / end game I think you are best off to rely on his magic skills, even though he never will reach the same level as the dedicated magicians.

So what does the rest of the party look like?

Hmmm, haven't played in a few days, so I've gotta think about it. I recycled a couple chars from my previous party.

Human monk
Human sammy
Mook ranger
Rawulf priest
Human bard
Gnome alchy

Pretty bland, all things considered, but I'm hoping they'll be fun enough to help me kick this rut.

You could base party characters on certain flamboyant forum members and pick the voices to match. *ahem* Not that I've ever done that...

If that's not an invitation for another trip thru the chipper/shredder, I don't know what is...

Sorry, there's no chipper/shredder in the game, so you wouldn't be able to use me as a template.
