Ah well, I guess I'll just have to give my friend the bad news. Also, considering the $$$ problems with the next release, I would assume it'll never happen.

I also have a MAc friend who is really into rpgs.... not the greatest idea in the world but eh.
The games translated to mac are entirely random I have no idea. Theres one major company making translations, and the orignal developers themselves sometimes.
Frinstance they made Baldurs gate 1. FAllout 1 and 2. Warcraft 3... and for some reason the totally bugged unfunctional game heroes of might and magic 4.
Neverwinter nights is coming to Mac or is already there, and Divine Divinity is coming to Mac. Those are good recent ones.
Pre d3d games you can sometimes play on a mac if you are technical and have the virtual PC installed in it.
This would be games about 95 or earlier.
I believe Steamworks arcanum is on a MAc as well.
I THINK baldurs gate 2 is on mac.
This is not a comprehensive list but I did a while ago look into what CRPGS are on a mac to try and recomend one. |
