This game was great, while I was playing it for the first time. But, when I was just starting to get some good, fun spells, it ended! That was it! You kill the sleeper (which seemed really easy), and I had like 80 skill points to distribute to make my char really good, but it ends! That was so damn retarted, I was rather depressed that I beat it and it was over. They should have designed it so that you could continue to fight harder monsters, etc. instead of just kinda end like it did. Let's just say that I was very unimpressed... I guess I can join the other two camps and see how they go, but I already know the ending (I heard a rumor about multiple endings, perhaps people can hint at how to acheive them??)

There's really only one true ending but believe me, it's truly worth the effort to take another journey through the world of Gothic. I've played through as a Fire Mage, Mercenary and Templar. While the ending remains unchanged, the story varies a bit depending upon which prospective you choose to view it from (OC, NC or SC).

Another ending is to get all the way to the Sleeper - but don't kill it. Go out into the world and kill everybody else - now you OWN the world under the "big top". Just leave the game there and you are king forever!

hehehehe

After everyone dead, you can study magic for years in the fire mage temple, reasearching an awake spell for the sleeper
maybe something like "No-Doze' or "Vivarin"
or just a newer, stronger brand of coffee
the possibilities are endless in the world of Gothic.

You guys don't think that the ending was a bit sudden, though? I loved the game, no doubt, but it seemed a really sudden ending, like their budget ran out or something... it would make a great patch if they made something like was mentioned earlier (about not killing the sleeper and taking over the world) but some guys are invincible! For example, the smith guy in OC, I was sick of his attitude and killed him (I noticed that he had 6K ore to steal), but then some other guy kept chasin me down, and I couldn't damage him! It would be great fun to kill everyone, if it was possible...
