It happend to me as well. I reloaded the game (save often at different slots), and so the door did not jammed.
The loose brick close to the exit opens a room close to the exit-door, or which loose brick do you mean? _________________ Of course I´ve have the random Encounters on "less".

Sorry, but I do not remeber. Maybe this post can help you: http://www.gamebanshee.com/forums/showthread.php?t=60883&highlight=loose+brick
"When you enter the dungeon using elevator, turn left. There's a secret room you can eneter by pressing a loose brick on the wall. I think it's on left wall, near the gate where you can enter the water. Chceck the wall.
However you don't need that. You can swim underwater to get to the rooms. After you find the armor you're looking for, you can leave this castle using castle gates." _________________ Of course I´ve have the random Encounters on "less".

Jammed locks can not be opened. You will need to use a previous save game. I'm told that sometimes having the proper key will bypass a jammed lock, but I've never tested it. _________________ If God said it, then that settles it!
