Disclamer If you play the guitar then you might well be offended by this awful performance

I wouldnt say he has no talent whatsoever, the guy isnt where he is because he has zero talent. The level of, and what is considered to be talent tho, is up to interpretation ='.'=

I just keep thinking to myself

What If he had played that "guitar solo"*coughs and splutters* in the 70's/80's when bands had tallent.

I can't fathom how he has got where he is today and it annoys me that he is making so much money for swearing a lot and having kids think it's cool to swear so they all run out and buy his albums.

Fred Durst sucks...NU Metal sucks just like 80s glam Metal sucks.

In 2001 right after the 911 deal...there was a cheesy music performance thing on TV...

I was chillen' with some friends and they were watching this crap...and who decides to cover Pink Floyd...Fred Durst.

I yelled at the top of my lungs...BLASPHEMY...turn the channel! I really pissed off some of the females in the group...and they thought I was so cold and insensitive and stuff. But, my god...I did not want my sacred Floyd ruined...to hell with whatever politcal reason this show was on.

That was the worst cover I have EVER heard in my life!!!

Oh man, that sounds worse than when Avril Lavigne covered System of a Down's song "Chop Suey." That's an awesome song, and it should not be spoiled by a whining high-school dropout dumbass.

Has Fred Durst ever said he is a great guitar player? I´ve seen a documentary on MTV in which it was made more than clear that Durst hired a new lead guitar player for the latest album because he knew (or at least found out ) he was not good enough to transfer the melodies in his head to a good guitar sound in real life.

awgh.

no you know what. i could go on for pages and pages and pages about the travesty that is fred durst, but i'm not even gonna dignify...that..."performance"...with any more than the following statement:

"there are not enough slanderous terms in any language to fittingly describe fred durst and all he represents."

you know, i feel i owe it to the people on this board to apologize for my generation...and all the "music" and "culture" the majority of members have let viacom brainwash them with. (i wouldn't say no to an apology for cindy lauper or the hussle if anyone feels up to that...oh god or anything by abba... )

@kengo - rock on man. rock on.

The spirits of Hendrix, Rhodes, Satriani, and Vai call out for justice... and half that list is still alive.
