I found this game rather mundane and boring when I played it. It had quite a few errors and lagged pretty bad. Has any of that changed? Also have they changed the Map? Does it still show you where other players are...that is a bad feature for a PvP game.

I don't claim to be an expert on Shadowbane, but...

Errors: Newly hired programmers have overhauled the code. I've heard SB.exe errors are, if not abolished, much rarer.

Lag: At GDC this year it was revealed that all the graphics in SB had been CPU-bound. That is, the game did not use your graphics card. At all. For anything. Graphics and gameplay were both trying to use your CPU. The new coders have changed that, and framerate is much improved.

Map: No idea on this one.

How the heck are you supposed to be sneaky if there's a map? LOL.

If you're stealthed then you don't appear on the map. Without the map the frustration would be through the roof. You'd die so often it wouldn't be fun. If you've played the game you'll know that if ppl are out to get you then by the time they appear on the map as dots, if you haven't reacted already (tracking), then you're as good as dead.
