Finalizing Chapter One

I've noticed, after starting "The Ritual" at the end of Chapter One that you lose a few select items. I have completed all quests given to me, with the exception of the henchmen quest and I am curious:

Where can I find info on the following itemsP:

A Silver Ring with a bird on it aquired from a chest, don't remember where.

A Chalice from a chest.

Celestial Elixer

Holy Water. (I know this can be used for an item in The Forge.

The Forge Book - I've actually lost The Forge.

OR! Can anyone tell me what these items relate to so I may finish the "quests" or get tehm back to the 'people' that own them?

ALSO, I had started the "Ritual" and waited. And waited. An waited and nothing happened. I spoke to everyone and still all anyone did after I talked to them was stand around and watched the priests bow to the pool. That's how I found out about the missing items, so I went back to Ch.1 and am trying to figure these items out.

Any assistance will be helpful.

TIA ~T

I believe those items are all parts of henchman quests. All 6 of the henchmen have some item you can retrieve that will make them happy. You've done your henchman's quest, but did you hire each henchman long enough to get their "story" and quest?

Ah-ha, and, err..........No.

I guess I was confused with the henchmen thing.

Ok. So, in any given chapter you can use any and all henchmen and solve their quests? This could get confusing with all the districts and not knowing who's stuff is where. But, maybe that's the thing, eh?

Have I missed out on a lot if I didn't do that? Can I go back and give the henchies the stuff now? Prolly not, huh?

I chose Daelan to come with me everywhere. He looked big and he was th most polite out of all of them. I guess I didn't want to fire him and make him mad at me.

I hope I haven't blown it already. I was just getting excited with the game.

You're doing fine, T. You can hire any of the henchmen. What I ended up doing was talking to all of them right at the end of chapter and handing over the appropriate odds-n-ends before moving on to chapter two. Pick up the henchie you actually want before leaving.

Oooooooooooooooo, I was hoping you could do that. Do you get the experience points for it? Or anything worthwhile?

I guess I could go back and take a looksie, eh? I'll do that! Thanks for the info.

Hey, dteowner, why don't you just set up a personal NWN help site just for me! LOL! Thank you very much for all the help, and the laughs.
