code book

I must take the code book from sottilde in the thieves guild (mission for the fighter guild).

The problem is when i speak to her she does not want to give it but said she wants to give it to authorities.

The only way i found to get it is to kill sottilde (i am very bad in thieves jobs, security).

Do you know a turnaround ???
Is it bad to kill this woman ??

I would do a search of this site because this topic has already been talked about. So you might find some interesting stuff through that.

I would not say it is bad, but everyone in the bar will attack you so I would suggest taking a divine intervention scroll with you before you go in there. She is just a thief so attacking her will not damage the main quest in any way.

I just did that quest last night. I bribed her up to a 82/100 disposition towards me, then she just haded the book over. 2 bribes of 100gc each should do it.

You only get 50gc for the quest, but its better then having all of southwall after you....especialy if you intend on joining the thieves guild eventualy.
