Help with Murder Investigation
   

I just need some hints here so please no full outright spoilers

I just got the investigation for the murders and have visited the Astrologer's room and talked to all (I THINK) of the named NPCs in the castle. Where I THINK I am stuck is in opening the chest in the observatory. I cant pick the lock nor do I have a key.

Any ideas where I should proceed?

OK. Figured it out. Search all the rooms you gained access to CAREFULLY!
