Gothic2.ini file editing? |
|
Hi,
I have a question regarding the possible additions to the .ini file, IF there are such. Thing is, I played the game through with the paladin and mercenary. So, I started again and thought to go through as a magician this time, and pay more attention to the exploration this time, last time I was more driven to follow storyline and quests. So, I exported my mercenary char from the end to the beginning of the game, but not total beginning, to the point where I had done all 'neutral' quests and next step was to either explore more, or join some guild.
I edited the export file and removed all guild relations, also removed all the spiffty items I had as a dragonhunter and paladin (armor, weapons, jewelry, potions, etc). Replaced those with the items I had at that moment in the past, that's the leather armor and such. OK, export worked all fine and dandy and I am already moving on to Valley of Mines as a novice, but here's the (finally!) the question:
Is there a way, by somehow adding the line to .ini file or some other way, to double the XP? I need loads of XP now until next level and it's kinda slow I.e. a command of sorts, if there is such, which would double the XP received per kill? I.e. I kill a bloodfly now and get 60 XP, that's literally nothing, but if it would be 120 XP, that would be nicer, although still a detail.
I posted this here and not on some other board, because I figured it's a general question and not a spoilerish type or troubleshooting type But correct me if I am wrong. |

Go check the Gothic spoilers section. There's a cheat to enable your abilities for changing your LP. (easier then changing EXP) _________________ Moderator and Council Magician of the RPGDot Shadows

Yes, I know how to "edit" the game to get more 'free' LP's, but that's not that good I want to - and don't mind - to earn those LP's. |
