TOS editor help

Anyone have a few clues for me??

Trying to use the editor-How do I zoom in?? I am up with the spy satelites...I reduced the view area to a lower level and when I get anycloser than a cesna almost all the terrain and objects gray out...

Also is there a way to scroll the area or a fast zoom in and out?

How do you drop placed objects to ground locations(or barrels ect.

I have done cad-programming and used a few editors --This thing is going to drive me bonkers...The demo video looked alot different than the views I have and seemed so much easier

Pressing the "C" key

Of course you can always select the item you want to center into, and then just press the "c" key, that centers you into the selected item and zooms to a comfortable level. The you can always use the scroll wheel too.
