(sp)Yeah,.. The pixy is great: a great helper. As for the best fighter, I was said it was the warewolf. But I had some other impression... I mean, he dies awfully too quickly, that you get better off without him. |

Certain character classes can summon a "monster" to help them. The caster and familiar have a relationship similar to a person and his/her pet. There are several different types of monsters the player can choose from, each supplying different skills for the player's use. Page 103 of your manual has a very brief bit of info. _________________ =Proud Member of the Non-Flamers Guild=

Definitely the pixie. She handled all the thieving skills (until I got lazy and just started fireballing entire rooms to open chests and such). I kept her the entire game with my wizard (which let me use Red Tiger to beat everything down). _________________ Estuans interius, Ira vehementi

I have to agree with Xen and others that in general, the Pixie is the most useful. I've tried others, but they tend to get killed quickly. The Pixie is hard to hit and is very useful for finding traps and opening locks. _________________ If God said it, then that settles it!

I always used the wolf ... just cuz him the raven and the panther are the only ones that fit a ranger in my opinion _________________ NIL MORTIFI, SINE LUCRE

Yeah, I played a ranger and used the panther. Very nice pet, i.e. beautiful and quite useful. |

Pixie. Never gets hit and is a capable rogue for traps and locks. I just wish she didn't make that irritating noise. |

Good choice. Same here. I thought about the others, but a panther is just too cool for words. _________________ =Member of The Nonflamers' Guild=
