I am one of the people who has the luck to expierence higher resolutions = faster better frame rates.
This being the first time I've ever bumped the resolution up to get higher fps i wondered what is going on? Is there extra cpu time spent downsampling the art when your running at 1024 and under?

cpu vs. graphics card
well, i'm not very technical but, i know that in resolutions over 1024 the cpu becomes less of a factor in determining fps. at the higher resolutions the video card is the main influence over fps so maybe your cpu is slowing the card down or something... i don't know if that even makes sense.

I don't know the logic behind it either, but it is true on my computer also. Namely its with newer cards from what I understand. Gefoce3/4..I think if you have a Geforce2 or older this is not true, goes to show you how technology is advancing _________________ Shifter
