Odd polygonal graphical corruption |
|
I'm having a problem with Gothic II Gold. I was playing the other day without issue, but yesterday when I loaded it up, I started getting strange flashing polygons - it looks like shaded perspective lines drawn from my character to random points around the world, coupled with all of the trees flashing in and out. It is bad enough to make the game unplayable.
I didn't change anything on my system after the last time I played and the current problem. Changing the resolution doesn't help, nor does starting a new game.
I'm running:
~WinXP Pro SP2
~Audigy 2
~Athlon 64 3200+
~1GB DDR400
~Nvidia 6800GT
Everything is completely up to date, and I run a clean, well-maintained machine. I'm not running any special settings or AV programs in the background with G2. |

Are all other 3D games correctly displayed? Driver problems are unlikely but the graphics card could be damaged. _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |

Then I donīt know whatīs going on. Itīs not a common problem.
You should upload a screenshot and post your problem also on WorldofGothic and in the JoWooD forum. This triples your chances. _________________ Webmaster GothicDot |
