Gothic 3: Infobits @ WoG

World of Gothic has posted some infobits (in English) from a 'Gothic III' preview in German print mag PC Games (subscribers got the mag today and it will be available at newsstands on Wednesday).

Piranha Bytes is planning to implement mouse-only controls that will be aligned to the standards of other 3D-RPGs.

I liked Gothic I and II control system, the combat was really fun. The monsters barely touched me when I was of high level.

Don't worry . WoG forgot to include one tiny but nonetheless important little word in the English translation of the newsbit. The German word "auch" means "too" or "also" and in this particular context it means that they (PB) seem to be planning on mouse-only controls *in addition* to the tried and established mouse/keyboard controls.

Ah, a case of bad translation. Thanks for clarifying, Moriendor
