Yarun says he is the leader of the assassin's guild....but... everyone refers to the assassin guild leader as a woman....is he just some very confused delusional man who plays pretend at being the guildmaster while the real one is away? I forget....is there a mages guild? I know there is a rangers guild (or was it archers?) and a warriors guild, merchant guild, and assassin guild.....if there is no mages guild gimme a reason why...I haven't played in a long time.

As far as I know, the assassins' leader is not refered to as a woman. Perhaps you are confusing him with the female assassin you rescue from the Thieves Guild.
As for there being no Mage's guild, well, there aren't that many mages to form a guild.

I think the Healers in Aleroth could be considered close to a Mage's guild. |

There is a flaw in the storyline : Sir Dante ( I think it was him  - I mix both Sir's ) says the first time the char asks him about the Guild of Assassins that he would arrange a meeting with a woman - one head of the guild.
Later, Sir Dante seemingly had changed his mind : He arranged a meeting with someone else : With Yarun.
It is *never* cleared up who this mysterious woman might be. (Perhaps Penumbra ?) |
