How are you supposed to get the focus guarded by the troll, goblins, and harpies? The winch is jammed but it doesn't even look like it opens anything useful and the blocked wooden barricade seems invulnerable. The only way I could get in was to morph into a bloodfly, strafe up the mountain, morph into mealbug and crawl into the hole between the outcropping boulders. I assume there is a real way to get in. Especially one where you don't have to exit on your face.
If it makes any difference, I'm not on any quest to get the focus and I'm just a OC grunt. I'm just collecting them for fun. Also how many are there? I have four and am searching for the fifth one which I missed due to the fact that my rear was handed to me everytime I tried at Character Level 4. Now that I'm at CL17 I do believe it's time to collect my due. |

Since you joined the old camp, you're on a mission to scout out the swamp camp. Collecting the foci now is too early. (Spoiler): You have to do some tasks for the swamp camp, and in the end attend a ceremony where the sleeper is invoked; then you'll be sent to the new camp where you'll receive the quest of collecting the five foci. When you come to the troll area now, you'll meet Diego, he will be able to fix the turnwheel and open the door - after you defeat the troll, that is.

Thanks for answering my question and don't worry about the spoiler, I've already done all the Sect missions and have moved onto the new camp. It's just that the new camp gets so much on my nerves that I had to take a break and explore the world of Gothic for a bit. |
