I didn't know there is huge different of opinion over whether action element should be in Adventure genre or not.

The Poll

The Flame

What's your opinion on making adventure games to have more combat element?.

I certainly don't mind combat. I loved the Quest for Glory series and combat was a big part of those games.

Fine by me. Whatever's right for the game should go in, IMO. I think if a game with action in still feels like an adventure game, then it's an adventure game.
