Holy Items Quest: Playing the Save/Restore Game

I decided to restore to prior to doing the holy items because I wanted a different selection. The dagger came up with a great set of charms and resistences. High magic, high strength. Then I goofed and had to restore again. This time it came up with a mediocre set.

That's when I realized the values changed every time you did it. So I played "Save/Restore" until I got what I wanted. If it looked good I saved the game before trying again. I could always go back to that one:)

I ended up with three enchantment slots plus intelligence, strength, magic bonuses, and various resistences.

At first I chose the amulet. I'm a mage. But I had a great mage's amulet from early in the game and the holy one wasn't all that better. Since a weapon is just a place to store stat and resistence boosters to me, I decided to get the dagger. Now I have a great dagger with lots of enhancements and my old mage amulet!

Does anyone know if the values on the dragon armor change when you find them?

Unfortunately I stuffed up the Holy Relics quest (by opening the tombs long before receiving the quest) so I never played around with any of these artifacts. Good observation though - I'll have a play next run through the game.

Yes they change. They also change completely when you have the whole set and the dwarf fixes them.
