Gothic 3: #3 in Best Games 2006 list @ AOL.de |
|
At the start of this new year AOL made a list of upcoming games with the highest hit-potential.

Number one on the list is the building-sim "Anno 1701", "Splinter Cell 4: Double Agent is number 2". Gothic 3 is close behind them on number 3.
On number 9, trying to keep up with G3, we find "The Elders Scrolls 4: Oblivion".

|

Of course it's number 3... in germany! In the rest of the world, nobody really cares... |

The series anno 1701 belongs to has never been very popular other places besides germany and both games have been really buggy and I still haven't been able to play the second one yet because of it's bugginess. |

Disappointed looks great but Game play is way to buggy |

I like the video and the game concept. But the combat sequences flat out stink.
I'm disapointed in the game. Back to Morrowinds and Sacred |

For me the judging factor in witch one will be the best will be which one has less loading screen and the least bugs to be honest. G3 and Oblivion IV both have great potential, we have all seen the previews, Chapter 1-6 of Oblivion looks and sound incredible but the G series has my full support, I finished both (Sat through all the bugs) with a smile on my face. Can't wait to get my hand on both. |

I can't wait to make a comparison between those two. My money is on Gothic 3, anyway. _________________ Some people search all their life for something and don't find, while others find and aren't satisfied.(Mihai Eminescu) |

One thing that would really put the one above the other is multiplayer support, imagin you are running around in a wood (like oblivions wood) and you see your friend (A Level 35 Mage and you are a Level 35 Warrior) running around looking for NPC's to kill, and then bash his head in, or you get frozen and then firebolted. That would just be great fun, almost like WOW just alot bigger and better and prettier.
Yea Yea I know Im dreaming, but it's still a nice dream. |
