Something odd happened to me while playing Gothic 2 Gold. I had the WoW (given by Vatras in chapter 1), and for a time it stayed with me until I lost it when I left Khorinis for short ramblings around the town. Yesterday I made the long trek (sans WoW) to Onas's farm to try and locate Dexter; while exploring the area penciled by the pirate Buck (is that his name ?), at the easternmost side, I found the WoW, hovering by a large rock half buried in the ground. I tried 'talking' to it (you can tell it to locate weapons or follow you) but the dialogue choices didn't appear; I then equipped a pickaxe and tried to dig about, somewhat blindly it's true, without results. However the oddest thing is that when I stepped on the rock, the WoW attacked me. What's a boy to do ? I struck back; a few swings later, it sputtered to the ground, shrinking to the size of a candle flame, and I was richer of 40 XP. As anyone else experienced the same ? Had the thing located something important ? I suppose I shoulnd't have killed it, but I swear it attacked me first ! |

There are a number of Will-O-Wisps in the game.... the one you killed was not yours, but a in-the-wild version. |

To re-summon your own will-o-wisp I think you use have to "use" the amulet IIRC. _________________ =High Shadow of the RPGDot Shadows=
