D&D Online: Free 7 Day Trial

The D&DO site3D Gamers and others are offering a free 7 day trial of D&DO. Unfortunately, it is limited to the US, Canada and Mexico and the info page detects my IP being out of the acceptable range so I can't even read the details.

What details? Nothing I've seen yet tells me for sure that I do or don't need a credit card, nor what areas I can explore, or much of anything else.

All I can see is that I need to grab a key (via free registration) from 'Turbine', download a 1.7GB client, and play.

I'll give it a shot ... the wife is away for the weekend so blowing a few hours on this will only mean less time on other games after the kids are asleep

DDO Trial

I got it to work through Fileplanet. You don't need a credit card or anything, just download, give them your e-mail, enter the key they send you into their website, and play away. It's not too bad so far.

Maybe it doesn't like how you exchange semicolons for apostrophe's

That is really good - when I did the WoW and EQ2 trials you had to do the credit card thing and cancel in time.
