Shards? I presume you mean SERVERS? Was that from that lame Shadowbane or something?
As for wether the servers will be international or not. If you took the time to READ THE FAQ, you'd see this:
quote:
Where will servers be located?
World of Warcraft servers will be located around the globe in order to support our gaming community worldwide.

Shards. Servers. I thought that was what you meant. I'm certain Blizzard will have topnotch servers and support. I can only guess that their servers will probably be located in California and Virginia in the U.S.
They might also have servers in other countries. I don't know if the game will be internationally sold. I'm sure that information is available at the official site. I vaguely remember reading that the game was eventually going to be sold internationally - don't hold me to it. _________________ I am the founder and former leader of a guild in EQ, retired member of The Code in EQ, original member of KOE in AOE2, past Corporal of EVO in MOHAA, respected veteran of UT 2003, a conquerer of all decent games, and an aspiring game developer.

Ugh, I had to edit my post above, due to the no-doubt factor.
Not that I think it will matter. Old EQ servers were playable from most places in the world, even with an old modem. I don't think these will be worse. _________________ Like some bold seer in a trance;

Servers were called shards in UO. I'm not sure if they still are though, as it's been a long time since I've played. _________________ If soot stains your tunic, dye it black. This is vengeance.
