West of Balmora I stumbled across a shrine.
Inside I was attack by tow heavy armored guys. I managed to kill the m both and one of them dropped a deadra heart. A bit further along there's
a huge statue and underneath it is a plate with another heart on it.
What am I supposed to do with the heart(s) ??
Also, somewhere else i found 4 red ash statues (small). I took em all. Is there a purpose to them, other than selling ??

UPDATE: I took a pearl from the plate and a dremura lord appeared. Killed that one too and lo behold, a third heart... what do I do with them ??? |

Thats a bad Daedra worship site... as said the hearts are useful in alchemy.
A general good point... when you steal from the altar and the dremora lord appears his Weapon IS GENERATED AT RANDOM which means if he spawns a daedric knife its definitely worth your time to reload and get something better off him.
Anyone get a weapon better than a Daedric Katana? In the one hand long blade catagory that is.
Many times you'l be able to activate the Statue inside the Daedric Temples. These produce sweet! quests. |

Why is it a bad site ?
Damn, I already saved AFTER i beated him and he dropped NOTHING usefull 
And I can't seem to do anything with the statue |

The difference between the Daedra is minimal... the people the Tribunal worship are of the same ilk as the bad Daedra cults.
However while they are called bad daedra they do stick to their word... they don't screw their followers over.
An example of Good Daedra would be Azura... She can be spoken to at Azuras shrine on the Azura coast. I have also done quests for Malacaleth and Molag Bar. Molag Bar in the Daedric Ruins west of tel aruhn. and Malacaleth (very good quest!) on the easter end of the Ald Redayna Island(sw of Dagon Fel) |

they're are many many deadric shrines, also there is a better 2 handed longblade then the deadric Katana out there. |

There are a bunch of Unique Daedric Items that are spawned by quests only that are much better than the Standard Daedric Weapons.
Some are listed in the books about Daedra |

I've spent an hour painstalkingly examining one of the temples, with no luck. |

SITES -
Shrine of Azura - far southeast on map - big sea side statue - northeast of Tel Branora
Molag Bal - Daedric Ruin west of Tel Arhun
Malacaleth - Daedric Ruin southwest of Sanctus Shrine east of Ald Redayna and north of valenvaryon. (sheograd region)
Go to the great statue and move your cursor over it intill a nametag pops up. then hit <space> |

There's also one west of balmora. In the water. Check your (real) map for the big fat X in the water. |

I found a Daedric Claymore in the Talvani Vaults in Vivec. Along with a complete set of glass armor, 5k in gold, not to mention all the gems and soulstones..... |
