| Can't cast magic missle - why? |
|
I'm about halfway through the game, and for some reason I can't cast magic missile, or harm, or any offensive spell it seems. I can cast spells like heal, armor, etc. without any problem. I've poured points into my casting, etc. Is there some armor restriction or something that I'm missing? When I try to cast an offensive spell, I just shows a red X and he says "I can't cast that spell".
Anyone, please help? |

That sounds strange...
...are you sure you have the necessary runes for the "magic missle" and other spells. The red cross usually appears on runes when you have not found/bought them.

It was strange - thanks for answering, but I got it now. Must have been a corrupt file or something somewhere. I upgraded to the 1.15 patch last night, and ta-da! All my spells suddenly showed up - geez, I had a ton of spells that weren't available before.
Computers... gotta love 'em... |
