This is pretty sick and twisted but its too damn funny.
My brother is playing Oblivion too and he was testing to see if you could dispose of bodies in the lake outside the sewer at the beginning of the game. Don't ya know apparently bodies float.
So... he had decided to leave a calling card. He has been killing bandits and dumping their naked bodies in the lake face down and shooting a single arrow in their a$$. The whole lake is floating with bodies now - each with an arrow sticking strait up like a macarbe sailboat.
He says he's been rolling the bodies to the lake from all around the region. Rolling them down hills like logs using the physics engine. He says "Hey they were all bad."
I was laughing to tears when I heard this.
Really its a testiment to Oblivion's flexibility. Wan't to play nut job assassin and leave a calling card? Apparently you can! _________________ "For Innos!" |

Good question. Somehow he's rolling them. I'm not sure if he's dragging them too. I'll find out!

He says "my preferred method..." he's using the "Z" key (grab) to grab them by the best limb to get them into a roll and let the physics engine to do the rest of work.
Apparently his character has enough strength to pick up a corse by the head and get it almost into a standing position.
He's calling himself the "ass-assasin". _________________ "For Innos!" |

I've got to hand it to Oblivion. I thought Morrowind suffered a bit from being too open ended and the main plot was pretty lacking. But in Oblivion the plot seems alot stronger and at the same time the level of freedom here is even greater.
As much as I love the Gothic series Oblivion is gaining ground big time. In fact, not since Gothic 2 have I had this much fun. Although *I'm* playing a Crusader and keeping things on the up and up myself _________________ "For Innos!" |

Yes, it took me a while before I spotted the Z key - good fun once you get the hang of it!
I don't know if it's my imagination, but it seems to be easier to drag rats around if you grab them by their tails? _________________ Charlie Dobbie

Yea, and skeletons also seem easy to move. does your strength actually affect how you can move things? _________________ From flakes of gold... |

It does but the weight of what corpses are carring makes it harder to lift them.
My friend found that for me after he but two bandits in a very.........dirty position. (It makes me ask can you cross breed a khajit and an orc? You can ignore this question i'm just a maniac with issues. _________________ Hooray for long haired weirdos!!! |

Z is fiarly handy for making a distraction, too. You can, for example, carry a couple worthless cups/dishes and drop one when you need the attention of someone inside a house to go elsewhere (ie, while sneaking). Then use the Z key to pick it up and huck it away from you. In my experience, sometimes the AI will pick up on the sound and go to investigate, allowing you to bypass them. _________________ Make good choices. |

@Sauron
This seems to be really good idea. It didn't come to my mind to try this Splinter cell-like approach in RPG like Oblivion :]. |

I use it to leave a note when i kill someone... i mean assassinate by lying them flat on their back naked with an arrow in their head. _________________ Hooray for long haired weirdos!!! |

Just remembered that you can also pick up items and throw them into traps to trigger them. _________________ Hooray for long haired weirdos!!! |

ah the z key where would we be without it I remember on a quest for the mage guild i had to clear out a cavern of zombies to find this guy, I decided it would be funny to make a mound of zombies and did so (there was about 15 of them) and later when coming back through the cavern rescued guy in hand the idiot walked straight through the pile scaterring broken zommbies across the floor.
Now thats using physics for fun _________________ # It's a badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger.

Heh, throwing corpses on the water then "practising" your marksmanship on them... That's was quite fun. XDDD
I'm obsessive-compulsive with this type of necrophilia:- Find a gate and open it.
- Kill some bodies, then move the bodies to the place where you opened the gate.
- Close the gate. Make sure the corpses are "separated" by the gate.
- Open and close the gate over and over again.
Now watch the corpses fly. :O _________________ (\__/)
