Will my unofficial Gothic charactor be able to be uploaded into the official Eng Gothic Demo?

If not, then I don't mind - I can just re-script it. If I cannot, that means that some of the Unofficial cheats don't work anymore.

German Demo 2 does not allow many of the cheats. It mainly only allows God mode.

Gothic rules. I choose it's demo to play over my full version OperationFlashpoint.

Anyways, what are the best things to equip your Eng Demo character with?

For mine, I have:

Guild = Necromancer

TrueGuild = Necromancer

Armor = Robe of the Dark Arts

Sword = Executor

Crossbow = Crossbow of War w/ 999 bolts

Spells = Summon Skeletons x999, Summon Demon x999, Army of Darkness Rune, Wave of Death Rune, Breath of Death Rune, Fireball Circle 3 Rune, Summon Golem x999

Artifacts = Ring of Greater Invincibility x2, Amulet of Might

And for my Abilities, I have everything as high as good as they get:
Critical Hits = 100%
Chances of Failure = 0%

And everything else ranges from "999" to "9999999"

What about your charactor?

How come he point the staff as a rifle, I mean a real magic user don't use "eye-aim" like this to hit something. He looks more like a platoon soldier with a wrong dress and weapon

U r right with this.
But i m not able to create new player animations for my new weapons.
So he must use my staff like a Xbow before i learn it.

HeHe, so the character animation is actually a crossbow shooter, that makes me wonder how the magic staff works, just "shooting" arrows/bolts? or in fact fireballs or alike?

The staff is the meteor staff from Hexen2 and it shoots little hot lava stones.
The victim will be pushed back and starts to burin.

Thought it looked familiar, And I guess it as infinite ammunition, leaving the gothic world as a complete wasteland without any life after a couple of minutes play.

But this Staff is not the strongest weapon in game. I made a little test and was for sure strong enough to kill gards and small monsters. I was not able to kill to Ork warriors cause i had to hit them like 15 times and the Orks had only to hit me 3 times. I didnt test to attack a Troll but i think that i could not make damage to him with this staff.
The total damage is 90 and the damage of the war xbow is 100.

Using the hit and run tactic, may do the trick againt the orks, most monsters stop chasing you if you get outside their visible range, and I guess a damage factor on 90 with unlimit ammunition??? is better than a weapon with damage factor 100, where you need to re-supply all the time.
Also to considered must be the fire-rate???
And monsters immunity/resistance to fire!

Yes run and hide work like with all range weapons. But in Gothic u can use some cheaper tactics or use not, its all about your game play fun.
One trick is to climb one places were the monster cant reach u. But I prefer to play as realistic as possible.
And Yes the Meterostaff use a kind of Mana stones as an ammunition and the stones r expensive.
In my Mod this staff should only be useable for higher class Wizards because the Wizards cant use x-Bows in my Mod.

Awesome staff!

You can kill anything with one hit, with almost any weapon if you set your CRITICAL HIT to 100%.

I'm a Necromancer, but I don't know what spells they use or what-not. I tried inserting PERCEPTIONMODELL, but it crashes shortly after I insert it.

And for those of you that want to know how to make your character rule, and how to be a god, just email me at kevin.caitiff@sympatico.ca
I'll tell you how to edit characters, or I'll send you mine.

Robe of the Dark Arts + Berserker's Word + Crossbow of War = Best Equipment.

I have no interest in a super character, but I would like to check out sneaking and pick-pocketing. I've got my pick pocketing skills up, but I can't use them unless I can sneak.

Have you managed to figure out how to turn on sneaking (or acrobatics)?

Turning on Sneaking and Acrobatics is tricky.

I've never seen anything use this kind of syntax before, so I had to figure it out through trial, and error.

Open the .ZEN file. Now right in the middle of the file, you see a set of zeros. Those zeros represent Sneaking and Acrobatics. You have to delete some, or add some more of those lines.
I forgot what I did, but I'm pretty sure that I deleted two rows of those zeros.
