Yes Master

Gothic is really one of the few rpg games I play. Other than that I'm big on war games: GR, RS, Hitman, Commandos But I haven't played those in month's
(gothicsyndrome)
It's funny really, how I came to play gothic. One night I just felt the urge to shoot a bow, wield a sword, collect armor and build up my strength. I was originally looking for Thief but it was gone. Good thing too.

Does anyone know if there is a evil smiley. I don't much like the frown

Yes! Come play Planescape! It's one of the best CRPGs ever!

CRPG? What's the C stand for?

And is Planescape really fun? Is it like EverCrack? Or Better? Or is it a text thing?

Thanks for the Smiley's Val

You might want to try Arx Fatalis.

Yes it is. It's not an online game, it's single player. It was made by the same people who did Baldur's Gate and it has a lot of dialog, which is one of the funnest parts of the game.

You're welcome

Hmmm... I see.
What I need is a Gothic Version of EverCrack. If that happens I'm quitting work and droping out of college.
But I doubt it will happen anytime soon.

No, I don't want that. I'd never leave my house!

Planescape: Torment is a very rewarding RPG.

We have another convert Jaz.
Now if we can only convince him to pick a Placescape pic when he hits 300 posts.

Yesss. So many pics to choose from... though the True Shadow is reserved for Suicidal Cockroach. I wonder where he is...?

I can't say I liked it,too much text and Infinity Engine games overall aren't my bag...(sorry Val and Jaz... )
If you do like a lot of text and deep storydriven games you would most likely like PS:T.(it has a lot of fans and a nice atmosphere)
It isn't really the people who made BG though,it is Black Isle that made Fallout and Icewind Dale.(they did help out with it,but Bioware are the ones who made it including the Infinity Engine that is used for it,IWD and in a mod'ed version also for PS:T)

For promising MMORPG's the one I'm most interested in is without a doubt Neocron http://www.neocron.com/
Also Project entropia seems interesting http://www.project-entropia.com

At the Locusinn, look to the left - there's a menu for Planescape where you can view all the characters sorted by alphabet...
