Wow! This forum is dead now.

Has the release of Gothic 2 really killed Morrowind that badly, or have people just lost interest in this game?

I'm personally still waiting for the job market to recover...

And infuriatingly enough I've run into a bug in Bloodmoon. The good news is the patch fixes this bug. The bad news is the patch fails to install on my system! I've tried the official forums, and have submitted a support request to Bethesda. The good news is they promise to respond within 48 hours! The bad news is they haven't yet, and it's been 52 hours...

So no more Morrowind for me at the moment. I guess it's forcing me to get back to a few other projects that have been neglected while I've been hunting Wolves, exploring Barrows and generally beating up the locals. And playing Bloodmoon, too!

I think that the majority of the people that post on this site favor Gothic II over Morrowind, but if you visit the official Morrowind site forums, I don't think that the game is dead. Specially with the Bloodmoon addon, which will keep it's neck above water a little longer.

yeah people on this site tend to lean towards gothic more ... although i may be one of them
I love morrowind aside from it being empty and such ... but i have derived many (understatement) hours of fun from morrowind ... love the graphics ... love the character development

Well the Dot started from Gothic ( err didn't it? ), so that is the reason why you see so many Gothic fans. Ushually in threads like "Why did you come to the Dot?" people answer that because of Gothic

But the Morrowind forums seem preety active to me right now.
