hi im fairly new to the RPG style game play. now that i got the game gothic im hooked on RPG games. can anyone suggest any good free RPG games for download? i tried to get the memesis but DL failed. i like the 3rd person veiw 3d RPGs not to much into the 2d RPG. thanks |

Not many RPGs are free.
Good is Siego of Avalon. You can download first episode for free from their site

But you must pay for another 5 chapters  |

As far as freeware goes, Betrayal At Krondor is the best of the best.
Personally, I liked Faery Tale Adventure 2 quite a bit, but it's pretty old. It's abandonware, but isometric. Shadowcaster was an action oriented adventure with CRPG elements that is also abandonware, I believe Home of the Underdogs has it.
Also GetRight helps when downloading large files; you can resume if you get cut off instead of starting over. Download.com or ZDnt has it. Just a suggestion. |

If you donīt mind the ugly graphics BAK is worth a try. The story and the turn based combat are still the best in the business. The locked chests are probably pretty annoying nowadays, but you can use the 100% complete walkthrough for it. |

Good and Free. Usually you wont find one associated with the other. When you get what you pay for, Free usually = crap. But Summoner is a good 3d, 3rd person view like Gothic, very nice graphics. |
