I left the rapax castle and realize that my best character is enthralled and i have to kill al-sedexus..well, no problem but i want to keep the rapax mage i hired and like our alliance..is it better to reload and just ditch one of my characters or go back and kill al-sedexus and ruin my rapax hookup, cause i like that armorer, too... |

I think you should go back and kill her.
But is also depends on how important is that character for you. When you created your party carefuly, I think you can not miss any of your partymembers.
For MichaelC: I hope that this time she is really she.

But then what's the point other than experience in allying with the Rapax and becoming a templar? Especially since Ferro said the Rapax king wanted to speak with me, etc. Wouldn't I lose the ability to have that Rapax mage in my group, trade with Ferro, and keep any alliance?? I was thinking I could use a useless NPC and sacrifice them |

I am not sure what are requirements for "sacrificeable" person. I had no NPC in my party, so I do not know if it is possible to sacrifice NPC. But i know that I had many problems with this. I tried 4 characters before I choose right one. It was ofcourse my most valueble character - very strong melee fighter.
Yes I think that if you will fight Al Sadexus with Rapax NPC, he/she will leave your party and fight against you. But maybe if you will leave this NPC somewhere and fight Al Sadexus and return, there will be no troubles. But I am not sure. I think that youw will not loose contact with that Rapax blacksmith after you kill Al Sadexus.

Madglee: Keep the templar alliance with the Rapax for a while, at least until you have speaked with the King in the wilderness clearing. You can live with one hexed character for a while. Later you can go back and kill the bitch, to free your character from this ailment.

I was not able to fight with my enthraled character, it was really painful. All fights were 10x more difficult.
But I guess it was my fault in creating and developing my party. I was too much "one_memeber_dependent".

The spells "Bless", "Enhanced blade", "Armorplate", "Stonebody", "Superman" can't remove the "hexed" condition, but can eliminate the bad conditions it entail! |

Well I ended up killing Al-Sedexus but found that this does not make the Rapax hostile to you. In fact, you are still one of the templar. I have yet to find the Rapax king and have scoured the wilderness. |

There are three exits in that south-western wilderness area. The swamp, the mountain wilderness, and the mountain glen (I think). The King is in the glen.

if you kill her before she spawns the rapx the mage wont leave your party and your alliance will stay |

Killing Allie does not have an impact
on you as a Templar.
The problem is not touching the templars
that she summons at the beginning of the fight...
so:
kill her.
Web/Paralize/FreezeFlesh until no Templar
can move.
Quit El-Dorado to the quickest.
Your alignement with the templars is not
affected until later. (IE doing the alliance
quest)
(Do not let NAS get too enthousiastic about this fight: He did 3 criticals in a row ,
killing Al and two henchmen in one round...) |
