The whole wavy red screen means they are possesing you, outcome of this can be
*Nightmares - cant heal from sleeping due to the nightmares
*Stifled - -50 Hps
Getting 'caught' is just their annoying little way of slowing your progress by making you tend to the effects they gave you instead of on your mission
no long term effects |

Ps: it is the best tactic to schoot a seeker with a (cross)bow and the attack him with a sword. or directly blow him back to beliar with some magic ( banish evil is my favorite (150 damage))

You'll get to a few points in the game where the seekers are hiding, and you bumb into them be accident. Then you can't avoid them telling you how tough they think they are. (this happens just before you cut them in half  )

The Seekers are so annoyingly weak.
They hide themselves pretty well. But if you keep your bow drawn, you can spot them 20 meters ahead.
Hell, you can punch them to death and they'd only deal you a little damage. |

in the cave of the ice dragon you can find a letter writen by Saturas,himself.In that particular letter he says something like "we went to search the thruth..".So it would be wise to asume hero is going to meet the good old saturas again someday

I'm still trying to figure out how many of the people in Gothic2, that came from Gothic1, are there in the first place. I killed them all in Gothic1
I did notice an odd bug in G2. I don't remember where exactly in the prison colony, but I ran across Gorns dead body, looted it of course, then he was sitting at Lee's table when I returned :/

Have any of you done the Mage quest (not sure if its mage only) given by Pyrokar to collect the possesion Almanacs from the seekers?
Well if you find one and bring it to Master Karras, he will later explain to you exactly what we've been suspecting -- that the seekers were once members of the Brotherhood.
I'm surprised that no-one else came into this thread to verify this fact. Perhaps a lot of people missed this quest. I know I did the first time as a Palladin. Replaying as a Mage I was able to pick it up, though.

After you defeat the Ice dragon, there is a message in one of the huts in that cave saying that the water magicians had to away and find out more about the barrier... |
