PLEASE HELP ME, my game won't load!

Ok, I installed Gothic 2 and double clicked on the shortcut and the loading screen comes up but then it just closes and nothing happens! I've reinstalled it but the problem still happens! Please help...

I had that with G1. I just opened it by using the program list. For some reason the desktop shortcut seemed to have a short in it.

Put the playdisk(cd1) of gothic2 inside the cd/dvd-drive.Wait while the driver loads it.The autorun runs(whatelse hehe is autoRUN) and select "play" from the list.
