| troubles with night of the raven translation mod |
|
Hey guys. I've managed to get a German copy of Night of the Raven installed over my English version, but hit a few snags when I tried running it:
Any ideas what I did wrong / what I need to do?

1. A sound problem.
2. A graphics driver problem. Change the resolution in the gothic.ini to your standard 32 bit screen resolution.
3. Possibly a memory problem.
1 and 3 are new. Looks like something is completely fucked up.

Hmm, I changed the resolution and bitrate in the config but that didn't even fix that :/ |

Apparently I only get the first of the messages if the translation mod isn't installed, and that one doesn't stop me from playing the game, and it doesn't even break the sound. However, once I install the mod it bombards me with those other errors and I can't play :/ Even trying to play it in German once the translation mod is installed doesn't work anymore. If I uninstall it, it works again, but I don't have subs. |

Are you sure the add-on is correctly installed and you´re running the correct program? It´s really strange you´re the only one with these problems.

Yes, I've installed it correctly and used the launcher. I also tried just running gothic2.exe to see if that would work, but it doesn't so long as I have the translation mod (1.0) installed. My NotR is also patched to 2.6, so that isn't the problem either. |
