Mushrooms for Mage Guild
   

I put off joining the Mage Guild for forever, now I'm stuck on quest 1: finding those 4 damn mushrooms. I've only found 2 of them, are they all in the swamp area southwest of Balmora? Any tips on how to find these?

Yes, all 4 are in the swamp area and fairly close. In fact, you can find all 4 in ANY swamp area in the world.

there in the trees growing. There not on the ground. Look at the trees and they will be there

I know that I found at least one (and I think two) growing from the ground. I found all mine on the the swampy coast near the first town, whose name I cant ever seem to remember.

You can find three of the four in the top of the Foreign Quarter Canton in Vivec (Teleport there from the Mage's guild in Balmora)

Or, you can get all of them on an island west of Seyda Neen.
