i was wondering if anybody else has had trouble going to sleep in gothic. I could for a while and now when ever i lay in a bed i just lay there the options for sleeping never come up no matter how long i lay there. I was wondering if anybody knew how to fix this little problem.

I never heard of such a problem. If you find it too annoying you can use the console cheat to set a certain time.
