I still can't install the german addon onto my english gothic 2! Nothing seems to work. I patched the game with 1.30 german version and extracted the files, I changed the two file names "e" to "g", I ran the vdfs file, but still nothing, the addon installer doesn't seem to find the gothic 2 exe or something like that.

u sure u extracted the original german exe file and replaced with the english one ? |

Yes, I extracted the german file to the system folder, where the english version lies.

Sorry for double post, but I think this question may help me a bit.
After you patched your gothic 2 with the extract only mode, then can you now patch your game with normal mode?

it wont patch most probably cos that exe file is allready patched  and the patch will think that ur game is allready patched . dang alot of word "patch" in this thread ;P |
