I am stuck again and now I really do not know what to do.
I am in monastery (chapter 4) and I completed all 8 (or was it 9) rooms with different quests, so I became member of this strange cult and was able to enter level 3.
But there I met my problem. When I open gates I find hidden NPC which wakes up 4 Iron Golems. I am not able to prevent him to do this and I am not able to kill even one of this monsters (when I use all what I have I am able to make one golem "hurt" and all three others are still uninjured).
Can you give me some hints, ideas...
Thanks. |

You need blunt weapons +3 or better to touch them, so they're terribly difficult at this level - perhaps impossible depending on your gear.
As I recall, the golems shouldn't move until you activate the switches near them; this sounds different to your description (?). I got all the other battles out of the way, sorted out my strategy, activated the switch and then ran for it!
Judging from from the BIS boards, I think most people did the same, although some planned to come back later for revenge. |

Thanks for reply, but no, these golems are not waiting for me to touch any switch).
There is man that does not allows me to respond, just says something and than he wake up 4 golems.
However I was able to get past this golems, I just run away and they was not able to catch me. |

I can't think of the ones you're talking about. Old age etc.
Glad you got past them, anyway. |

Ah yes... that. The golems never activated for me because I told Mr Would be Thief what to do with himself.
Sometimes accepting every mission you find isn't such a good idea. _________________ Estuans interius, Ira vehementi

I met another one (iron golem). I was stronger, but probably still not strong enough to defeat it (or probably I do not know right tactic). I am glad that these golems are so slow :]. |

Them being slow is part of their own weakness. Golems are walking armor class and hit point and damage output factories.... but if you stay away from them you can pick them off from afar.
After all, even the fearsome Iron Golem in 3E has a movement rate of 20 and can't run. Even an encumbered halfling in full plate can outrun that. Just. _________________ Estuans interius, Ira vehementi
