Dungeon Siege II Community Siegelet Site Under Construction

Hi, everyone. I would like to announce that I have started construction on a "new type" of siegelet project site for Dungeon Siege II. This project will center around a web site based on a certain period in history (in this case Rome circa 100 A.D.). For those of you who have seen "Gladiator" you will know the period. The entire community will then submit theme-based mods and nodes for the project at their own pace. Once a significant amount of material has been assembled it will form the version 1 release of the Siegelet. Over time as new nodes, mods, and regions are built they will be added.

This is a system which has worked very well for some other online games (most notably the SIMMS). It will give the entire Dungeon Siege Community the chance to submit their work for addition to the project and not have ugly deadlines or the like to worry with.

I would like to thank Xaa for helping to plant the seeds of this idea in my mind and pointing out successful examples of it to me. We all enjoy a new Siegelet but it takes on a whole new meaning when we are building it ourselves!

I will keep everyone updated on the status of the site construction and when it will be open for the submission of ideas as to possible storylines and such.
