trying out a mostly ranged party

i'm trying this party makeup to see if being ranged makes the battles easier, since most enemies are ranged, and i'm tired of having to move close to them while they shoot the lights out of me

Hob Samurai - Fang, stiletto, tripleshot xbow
RFS-81 - MA, doubleshot sling
Vi Domina - Stun Rod, Diamond Eyes, stiletto, tripleshot xbow
? Bard - Diamond Epee, Thieve's Buckler, tripleshot xbow
? Gadgeteer - ?, Thieve's Buckler, Omnigun
Mook Ranger 1 - Giant's Sword, tripleshot xbow
Mook Ranger 2 - Giant's Sword, tripleshot xbow
Mook Ranger 3 - Giant's Sword, tripleshot xbow

basic premise is to weaken em with ranged attacks (mebbe even get a few ranger crits in), then use the frontline of the Sam, RFS-81, and Vi to clean up

the Bard was put in purely for the Horn of Prometheus (to make battles vs tons of small critters easier)...and I needed a Gadgeteer to make my tripleshot xbows

otherwise, i woulda had *eek* - 5 rangers O_o

so far, so good...i'm raising DEX for the AR and to hit bonuses, and SEN for extra initiative and to unlock Eagle Eye

i'm going through ammo like no tomorrow tho, and having only 50 STR on each char makes it hard to lug around bundle after bundle of quarrels...this should get easier once I can start working on STR, and once I can buy Anks of Strength from Bela

Never heard of this instrument before. Perhaps you mean the Infernal Horn, which casts nuclear blast?

Not really intended as a correction. More a case of making sure I haven't missed a cool item.

The Horn of Prometheus is from Flamestryke's mod. You really should give it a try sometime Dte.
