I saw the screenshots of borderzone and I got intrigued, it reminded me at gothic so 2 questions: Is it out already and where can I find a demo of it?

As far as I know it's not out yet. I was shown an early beta version in !C's booth at the GC 2003, and it did indeed look a lot like the Gothic games. Dialogues were not spoken at the time, however, and it is *not* a fantasy CRPG. At least it was not at the time.

The release date on the website was set to Q1-2005 recently.

Yep, when I last saw the game it was set in a post-apocalyptic world with both fantasy content and lost technology. You emerge from your bunker to enter a world full of mutated beasts and small villages, later on you stumble across tech zones etc.
