Out of boredom. I found out that Pirrana Bytes also own Gothic 4 URL. I dont know if you allready know about this allready. |

maybe whey are lucky and they are making Gothic 4 when 3 is done, maybe the want to be save and got that url registered to make shure there is no confusion, well I hope we will find out soon enough.

PB always clearly stated that Gothic is going to be a trilogy. The third game is going to tell the end of it. Certainly doesn't mean that there won't be another Gothic game (or derivative as hinted at in JW's fiscal report), but it's not likely to be a continuation of the story of the nameless hero of Gothic I-III. |

they told it will be a trilogy cos many ppl thought there will be only Gothic 1 and maybe Gothic 2 but no Gothic 3  after they release 3 part it is possible that if this product will be a big incoming there will be the 4 part also u can allways do sequels for that kind of game |

TRILOGY!?!
NO! it cant be! there is no way! i want there to be 100 gothic games!!! I was expecting this will be the new final fantisy. THere is no way they can rap up this story in one more game! they need at least 3 more! And that is if all goes well in the series. who knows what could happen!!!

As long as it makes enough money, they will continue. I'm sure someone will think of a way to continue the story, even if they kill of our nameless hero. Shoot, look at King's Quest, even when it looked like all was said and done, they came out with the Mask of Eternia.

I think someone is the key word here... I'm not disputing your theory; look at the Sims series for once.  Tested recepies are not thrown away easily, but, as I said, all chances are that PB itself will not be making any further Gothic games after G3... |

i still think there is no way they could end the battle between innos and beliar, end the orc war, be rid of evil, and start and finish the fight against xardas in one game... just think about for a second and you will agree
