The answer would be a pretty severe spoiler. If you realy want to know better ask in the other forum.

Anyone heard anything about the release date for it yet (in England and other places.)

Not me, sorry.

True True.

I was just curious and someone mentioned that they met Lester early on in the game (I think) and so I just wondered how early and when/why.

Lester was in the demo too, was he not? (having played the full G2 for 4 times already, my memory cells that happened to store G2-demo information have been reutilized :p)

Yes, Lester is in the demo. In the valley by Xardas' Tower. You can get down there by a so-called "secret tunnel" that begins at the small pond on the path leading from the tower.

Gothic 2 is superb!

I play Gothic 2 for hours now (im a Paladin at the moment) and what can i say, im speechless. The graphic is so fair and beautiful, the whole world is perfect mutually agreed, the fauna's astonish me, to make a long story short: IT LOOKS WONDERFUL The Sound is impressive as well, harmonious piano sound (in the woods) or strained guitar (in Khorinis) lets you things slide. There are a great many Quests, all of them exciting and absorbing. All i can say is you HAVE TO buy the game, otherwise you're not a real RPG-gamer!

I think he means diagonal strafing, doesn't really matter in an rpg with mouse looks though.

In the scheme Iīm using the button is sometimes red. Isnīt one of the first things a SciFi / movie fan learns: "Never push the big red button!" ?
