I'm most like a neutral good ranger. I kind of avoid people, I'd rather be by myself most of the time, but I can fit in pretty well with people too, and people generaly like me (at least a little). And while I think laws and civilization are good, if some seriously hurt a family member of mine, I'd probably what to bypase the law and go after the person with a gun. |

I use mage - chaotic good. When I play RPG I ussually tend to be a mage. I simply like it (even if it is not best or easiest way).

My preference for Paladin forces me to play lawful good. When I try something else, I usually opt for "true neutral".

I am most like a Chaotic Evil Sorcerer. Nobody gets in my way, or I destroy them because I have the blood of the divine flowing through my veins! Take THIS MicroPuke! One for you, Bloatware!
Mwa! Mwa! MWAHAHAHAHA!!!
All temporary insanity aside... I am most like any of the peasants that get in the way during the game. "You... you wouldn't hurt a gnome, would you?"
We can't all be heroes.

HAHA I remember that quote, its the way he said that was funny, very fearful and stuff
Anyway, when it comes to Single Player RPGs its my general belief that the good guy role will make you the most powerful char in the end (more quests are opened to you, people are more willing to come forward with info, help, etc). Only when you have finished the game should you try true evil because not only will less quests be open to you, being evil you'll probably want to kill first and loot later so then some quests you might never see, and opposite of good, people arent going to WANT to help evil except other evil, and you dont *want* their kind of 'help'.
So in a nutshell, when a n00b be nice, when you have power and knowledge, be an ass
So basically in every single player game I am the Wolf in Sheep's clothing:
"Mr Goody Goody" on the outside
"Kill 'em and loot em" on the inside.

I've played as a mage, fighter and paladin, and always as a good guy..... just like in real life
I do like the kits a lot, a monk is a kewl dude.... maybe a bit too powerful however.

So you maybe should change your avatar. It doesnt look really as a good guy...
If you want to, I can make one for you that will look really as a good guy (look at Shrapnels avatar, do you want something similar ?)

I often play 'evil' the first time through. It lets me get a feel for the game. If the game incorpates 'evil' play into it, then the 'good' play must be twice as good. I freely badmouth anyone I can get away with doing, miss quests, etc...
RP evil isn't Berserker evil in most of these games. At least, not initially. If you take the evil dialogues a good game will just have the guy shun you. Perhaps attack you... but if that's the case... "So be it. I am your doom.". A bad game will have them give you the quest anyways, or just attack you instantly and be unkillable...
After I complete the game I go back and be 'nice'. If nothing else, all the content I missed makes the second time through more interesting.

I always play Chaotic Neutral, i would say that i am Chaotic Neutral in real life...
I am most likely a Fighter/Thief, I dont know why, but that class would fit me best.

One thing that I liked about 2d ed. AD&D was the many kits. I particularly liked the Swashbuckler kit for thieves. I would without exception play a chaotic good Swashbuckler. So much fun.... _________________ "It has been a grand journey- well-worth making once."

I saw this in a movie about a bus that had to SPEED around a city, keeping its SPEED over fifty, and if its SPEED dropped, it would explode. I think it was called, "The Bus That Couldn't Slow Down."

Next paycheck, I'm buying the core 3d ed. books. I've no one to RP with here in Mississippi, but the bug can still bite. Thankfully, my local game store lets me come in and read all the books I want to my heart's content. _________________ "It has been a grand journey- well-worth making once."

So... ask if the game store owners or workers are part of a gaming group. Or post a note up on a bulliten board in the store. _________________ Estuans interius, Ira vehementi
